Key insights I found through research were that different age groups had different skincare concerns, and that they wish they could try on the product before purchasing. This led me to develop two key personas, the millennial and the mom with different skincare & makeup concerns.

The final app includes interactive AR for makeup try on, as well as face-scanning technology to detect skin color for foundation matching. During the user onboarding process, there will also be a questionnaire for users to fill out what kind of problems they have to better customize recommended products. As a bonus, there will be a social / content tab where users can watch influencers livestream tutorials and consume more beauty content.
